Hilarious story
Here is a new concept:

Let me explain:
Basically, this guy wanted to sell a Apple Powerbook on Ebay, nothing wrong with that, a scammer placed a bid and proceeded to attempt to "buy" the laptop. The difference was this guy is a regular geek, and outsmarted the scammer. He used a online blog to spread the word and very soon he had a whole team of people helping him and collecting info. Now the story is spreading like wild fire, he is famous, geeks all over the word are talking about him. Well done to him! Way to make a name for yourself.
I cannot tell the whole story, I would not be able to do it the justice it deserves! It was very well written. So rather go read the whole story on the original site. Below are mirrors, I hope they work.

Now the updated site needs some content
Well lets see, my big project is finished, I made the deadline and they are pretty happy to pay the bonus too. So the most urgent thing I wanted to do was redo my webiste... DONE! What else, visit some friends that I neglected the last couple of months... Getting there!
Then out of the blue.... The damn geyser decided to start leaking... What a mess! We had to make a huge hole in the ceiling to remove the old geyser, and damn! Was it heavy! Then we replaced it with a new geyser. Did all the pipes (with thread tape) but get this, they kept on leaking. So how did we fix it?, with paint and string... Was messy but all the pipes are finally sealed. Showering in icy cold water is not a lot of fun, funny how you only realize what you have once you lose it. From now on I will have to appreciate the warm water.
Another big step, I finally cut my hair, the long pony tail is gone. I feel a bit sad, but I am moving forward, no use to ponder on the past.
What is still left for this week? The books of my business need attention, I will have to put in a couple of hours to get those sorted out before I leave for my trip to the states. Damn income tax also needs attention. Then all the banks suddenly want proof of a residential address, for the new legislation, otherwise they freeze your account. Major schlepp! I guess that is they way the game of life works, government make the rules, you play by the rules, if you play better than they others you are doing well. I have a lot to be thankful so there is no reason why I should complain. Lets not then. I need sleep!

Completely rewritten my site
Not bad, it took me only 2 days to completely rewrite my website, this blog is also integrated into my website. It makes it easy to post updates to my website without having to upload files via ftp. My eyelids are heavy, I need sleep! But the result looks good. The only question I still wonder about is "What does it look like in IE". Last time it looked crap in IE, but pretty sleek in Konqueror and Mozilla. One thing missing in HTML is the functionality to <#include file.html> the way one would do in C++ or C. I suspect I can maybe do that via JavaScript, but I am no JavaScript guru (yet). Well I better get some sleep!

Much better for websites
I have been meaning to update my site. Uploading html every time, is not my idea of fun, it just aint gonna cut it anymore, luckily there is this thing called blogging, google is your friend... applies pretty much to this situation too. Well let the work start.
