What is new?

The glug site www.glug.org.za finally renders well with all major browsers. It was tested with Firefox (and Mozilla), Konqueror, Opera and IE 6. It finally works reasonably well. What a mission to get IE to play game! It is a bad browser! I think it will cost companies money to make a site IE compliant. All the time and effort wasted simply b/c they did not stick to the W3 standards. What a sad state of affairs! On a positive note, the site looks good all round and was completed before 2005!

Well it is official, the www.glug.org.za site was launched, it renders perfectly in Mozilla, Firefox and Konqueror but Opera and IE seems to be lacking. I wish people would get rid of IE, who still uses it? Either that or M$ should fix it...like that is going to happen soon! ;)

Just follow the links and install it, it is totally free and is a lot better than any other browser.


Ever felt that some sites has it backwards? Then go check out Google . Some people simply has too much time on their hands!

Embrace change? Well that is what I said... The time has come and I knew putting it off longer would not help. With a couple of snips it is all gone, my long hair is no more. I always jokingly said that I would cut my hair one day when I grow up. So it begs the question, did I grow up? ;) I do not look like a (computer) geek anymore. I guess the best thing I like about it is people's reaction, after seeing me for 7 years with long hair it is quite a change. Is it a improvement ? Well I received a lot of compliments so some people definitely think so. Is this a case where before and after pictures are needed?
