Most important things first
Sorting out my priorities. I moved back to Pretoria, everything is a bit of a mess. I decided to get rid of old stuff. Spring cleaning. (In the middle of winter). I also moved my computer, leaving me disconnected from the net, all I had to do is connect the network wires again. Wire up the isdn and figure out what goes where. This took quite a bit of time as there was always something more important. I finally got there.
The next www.oppikoppi.co.za is soon. This far my planning seems to be going south. All the people that seemed keen to go... are fading. Lolly dropped me solidly... she is going to Durbs for the weekend, I was really counting on her! Jasper is in Nigeria of all places, working on some IT project. Celeste and I had a bit of an argument and we haven't been talking a lot, not sure if she is going (not sure if I want her there either). Marilize seems to be a bit scared, either that or she will not get past her parents. On a more positive note Elisma (my cousin) is going, Dirk (cousin) will also be there. Rotherick and Charlie(F) also indicated that they were going.
The family is finally visiting, after emigrating the the states many years ago (1993 or something like that) they are finally back for a visit. I saw them about a year ago. Tomorrow I am picking up Michelle, Anuschka and their dad Leon from the airport. I hope my car will have enough space for all their luggage... Aparently they are bringing everything... Someone should tell them we do have clean water and lots of food ;) I will try to get some time off work to take them places they want to go.
My dell laptop's 60GB hdd seems to be dieing (...spelling?) :( So much for quality, it is almost 3 years old, and it is not like I abused it in any way. It costed me an arm and a leg. At least I could claim a portion against income tax. I guess it is time for a major system backup.

In the next couple of weeks I am getting myself a new cellphone on contract. My choice being the new Sony-Ericsson K750i. I am also getting myself something for the road, a mp3 player. This seems to be the best one on the market.

This is a really cool blog, quite funny.
I like the look of that Mp3 player. There are so many of them out there that totally kick the Ipod's arse.
My mom got me one from China a couple of weeks ago. Its called Nivo. Its got mpegs, avi's, mp3, wma, wav, a sound recorder, kareoke, FM radio, picture storage and came with loads of software to edit and create different sound and videos formats.
*drumroll* and the price? All of R200! I'm so moving to China.
